Description

A delightful dessert combining warm apples with creamy mascarpone, layered with crunchy Cantuccini for a cozy fall treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 500 g Äpfel (sauer, z.B. Granny Smith)
  • 200 ml ungesüßter Apfelsaft
  • 250 g Mascarpone
  • 250 ml frisch geschlagene Sahne
  • 100 g Cantuccini oder Löffelbisquit

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and dice the apples.
  2. Simmer the apples: Place the apple cubes in a pot with the apple juice and a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Simmer until the apples are tender.
  3. Crush the Cantuccini: Break the Cantuccini into small pieces and layer them in dessert glasses or a baking dish.
  4. Add the apple mixture: Gently mix the cooled apple mixture with the crushed Cantuccini.
  5. Make the mascarpone cream: Whip the cream and gradually fold in the mascarpone and vanilla sugar.
  6. Layer the dessert: Start with a layer of the apple-Cantuccini mixture, followed by a generous layer of mascarpone cream, and repeat until the glasses are filled.
  7. Chill the tiramisu: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

You can prepare the apple mixture a day in advance for better flavor melding. Consider experimenting with different spices like ginger or cloves.
