- 250 g soft butter
- 50 g fresh wild garlic
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped (optional)
- 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the butter: Take the butter out of the fridge to soften.
- Wash the wild garlic and dry it, then finely chop it.
- Beat the soft butter in a bowl until fluffy using a fork or hand mixer.
- Add the chopped wild garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the butter and mix well.
- Incorporate optional herbs to taste and adjust seasoning.
- Form the butter mixture into a log using plastic wrap or fill it into a small dish.
- Chill the herb butter for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
- Serve at room temperature for easy spreading.
Notes
This herb butter is perfect for serving with fresh bread or grilled vegetables. It can be made a day in advance for enhanced flavor.
