Description

A delightful herb butter infused with the fresh, garlicky flavor of wild garlic, perfect for enhancing your dishes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g soft butter
  • 50 g fresh wild garlic
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp chives, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the butter: Take the butter out of the fridge to soften.
  2. Wash the wild garlic and dry it, then finely chop it.
  3. Beat the soft butter in a bowl until fluffy using a fork or hand mixer.
  4. Add the chopped wild garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the butter and mix well.
  5. Incorporate optional herbs to taste and adjust seasoning.
  6. Form the butter mixture into a log using plastic wrap or fill it into a small dish.
  7. Chill the herb butter for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
  8. Serve at room temperature for easy spreading.

Notes

This herb butter is perfect for serving with fresh bread or grilled vegetables. It can be made a day in advance for enhanced flavor.
