Description

Japchae is a delicious Korean glass noodle salad filled with vibrant flavors and textures, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 200g Glass noodles
  • 1 Carrot, julienned
  • 1 Bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 Zucchini, sliced
  • 100g Mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 Spring onions, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the glass noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Slice the vegetables into thin strips.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok and sauté the minced garlic over medium heat until fragrant.
  4. Add the prepared vegetables and stir-fry for about 3-5 minutes until tender.
  5. Combine the cooked noodles with the vegetables in the wok, then season with soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and pepper.
  6. Mix everything together until well combined and heated through.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Prepare all ingredients ahead of time for a smoother cooking process. This dish can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
